Essential DutiesPosition Requirements
- A pleasant and professional demeanor
- The ability to work independently and as a team player
- A valid driver’s license to operate a university vehicle
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, and to bend, stoop, stretch, reach and climb
- Must be able to stand for an extended amount of time
- Must be able to operate a pressure washer
- Work with Facilities Management on general maintenance issues (painting, etc.)
- Provide support for custodial services as requested
- Must be able to move furniture
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be an MUW student in good standing
- Valid driver’s license
Job Description Summary
The Housing Student Facilities Assistants (FA), under the supervision of the Director of Housing and Residence Life, are responsible for assisting in the inspection, assessment, reporting, and resolution of maintenance and custodial concerns in and around the residence halls.
