What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classroom Substitute position at Mitchell County Schools?
Job Goal
In the absence of the regular classroom teacher to help students to learn subject matter and/or skills that are required for scheduled lessons and to provide meaningful instruction for assigned classrooms.
Educational Requirements: Must have a GED/ High School Diploma; or Higher
Other Requirements:
- Must take the Substitute training class at SouthWest GA RESA
- Must satisfy the background check
- Must demonstrate professionalism at all times
- Must complete additional system level trainings as directed
- Complies with the school system and state level policies and laws
- Interacts in a professional manner with school staff, students, parents and the public
