What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Driver position at Mitchell Grocery Corporation?
Yard Drivers at the Mitchell Grocery Distribution Center operate commercial motor vehicles to move trailers and equipment to assigned dock doors and various locations throughout the facility in a safe and timely manner. Candidates for this position must have a current Class A commercial driver’s license; the ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical, and pass a Company administered road test. The desired candidate will possess a good work history, a safe driving record, the ability to work various shifts and weekends, and the ability to work with others as a team to accomplish Company goals and objectives in a fast-paced environment. Driving experience of one year or more is preferred.
