Title: Sales Engineer

Territory: Northern Half of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and the DC Area
Workplace: Hybrid (Requires one day a week in Ashland VA office)
Pay: 80k to 100k (plus commissions)

Purpose of position:
To sell Miura Complete Solutions & Lifecycle Partnerships (CSLP) that meet or exceed sales goals for this position. Responsible for generating, finding, developing, nurturing and closing sales from new leads to start-up of CSLP to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Essential Duties and Requirements
- “Hunter,” self-starter / works independently and thrives in developing new business
- 4 years of technical / engineered sales experience
- Proven sales track record – 2 years
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels in an organization
- 4-year degree (or significant industry experience)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer skills
Preferred
- Industrial machinery sales experience
- General knowledge of industrial and commercial steam system flow, controls and thermodynamics
- General knowledge of business practices, processes and accounting procedures
- Technical proposal writing
- Proficiency with Salesforce or like ERP system
- Ability to multi-task and administratively organized
