Responsibilities
Work safely and observe all plant safety, GMP, and food safety rules.
Work in a safe manner and insure zero accidents.
Maintenance of all processing equipment in a sanitary condition and the reporting of equipment conditions to responsible associates.
The performing of test for the microbiological examination of equipment.
The maintenance and running of all mini CIP systems.
The maintenance of all PROD/CIP connections.
The maintenance of all CIP/COP tanks.
The establishment of CIP system chemical concentration control by product grouping and actual titrations of chemical solutions.
The maintenance of CIP source/recovery systems.
Insuring proper storage of all CIP/PROD swing piping.
The maintenance of chemical storage areas.
The maintenance of all chemical distribution methods including the labeling of chemical containers.
The responsibility of working directly with chemical representatives to establish chemical usage data and reducing chemical cost.
The responsibility of testing new chemicals and recommending their use based on cost and effectiveness.
The responsibility of maintaining the ability to effectively manage the cook's platform in either kitchen during production nights.
Maintain all valve/pump parts and work with stockroom personnel to insure adequate parts on hand.
Maintain all sanitation equipment in a "ready-to-use" condition and with stockroom personnel to insure adequate parts on hand.
The responsibility for the cleaning and setting up of fillers and reporting of equipment conditions to designated associates.
Work required hours to provide coverage for vacation, absence on assigned team and/or other sanitation team as required.
The responsibility of cleaning process/and packaging areas of the plant both manual and computerized.
Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and floor scrubbing equipment.
Ability to work at heights.
Perform all TPM activities required.
The establishment and maintenance of a sanitary valve/pump program.
The establishment of a gasket/checkball inspection/replacement program.
The responsibility of testing new chemicals and recommending their use based on cost and effectiveness.
The responsibility of maintaining pining charts and piping flow schematics.
Direct involvement in equipment installations and the requirements of cleaning these systems.
Be directly involved in piping changes and redesigns.
