Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
- Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor tables for guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and restaurant policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant setting, preferably in fine dining or Japanese cuisine.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
