Wesa Automation, a division of MKD Electric, provides state of the art and integrated automation and control solutions for industrial and manufacturing applications.
Responsibilities:

• Read electrical and control schematics and assemble and wire panels to specification for PLC controls, operator consoles, variable speed drives, motor controls, and/or pneumatic controls.
• Inspect and test completed panels.
• Maintain equipment and tools in a neat, clean, and efficient work area.
• Work with shop manager to schedule and prioritize tasks.
• Occasionally support installations at local customer facilities.
• Lead and train other panel builders.

Requirements:

• Availability during core hours of shop operation, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (some flexibility available).
• Minimum 10 years of panel building experience, preferably within the automation industry.
• Formal electrical training or demonstrated on-the-job experience in the electrical field.
• Familiarity with NEC, UL, and/or CSA codes preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability.
• Knowledge of proper and safe use of hand tools and small power tools.
• Attention to detail.
• Teamwork and dependability.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be safety conscious.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
