Job:
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse activities related to raw material receipt, finished product shipment, inventory control, and cGMP compliance. Monitoring and meeting budgetary goals, ensuring the finished product is shipped via customer directions and on time. Proactively planning and working with production to ensure incoming and outgoing items are properly planned for.
Responsibilities:
- Leads activities of the warehouse staff, assigns priorities, monitors overall work performance, and adjusts as needed.
- Oversees outbound shipments and incoming deliveries.
- Arranges shipments and schedules trucks. Interaction with other departments to schedule trucks in a time frame for proper pickup and delivery.
- Completes all aspects of shipping document control.
- Performs inventory auditing processes for raw material and finished goods.
- Works in accordance with cGMPs, standard procedures, work instructions and customer specifications.
- Always operates forklift and powered hand truck in a safe manner.
- Monitor and deliver to budgetary labor costs, controlling overtime.
- Provide feedback to staff, completing reviews and training.
- All other duties as reasonably requested.
- Excellent communication with customer service and other departments on status of jobs and materials.
- Proper and timely recording of incoming materials and completion of required documentation. (daily)
Qualifications:
Required:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team
· Above average computer skills
· Must be detail-oriented, proactive and a self-starter
· Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills
· Ability to successfully complete forklift operator certification
· Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs on occasion
Desired:
· Previous shipping/receiving experience
· Team leadership experience or training
· Familiarity with pharmaceutical printing or packaging industry
· International shipping skills a plus
