About Us:
MMP Group is a 24/7 Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) serving youth across six licensed group homes in the East Valley. Our mission is to provide safe, trauma-informed environments that support healing and growth. We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Worker to oversee maintenance and upkeep across all locations.
Position Overview:
The General Maintenance Worker will provide hands-on maintenance, landscaping, and repair services across six homes and company vehicles. This individual must be self-motivated, dependable, and capable of handling a variety of tasks with limited supervision.
The position includes access to a dedicated garage workspace located in Mesa, AZ 85208, and the use of a company-owned trailer for transporting tools, materials, or appliances as needed.
General Maintenance & Repairs:
- Paint interior/exterior surfaces, patch drywall, texture walls, and complete cosmetic repairs
- Install, replace, or repair:
- Light fixtures, ceiling fans, and outlets/switches
- Door knobs, locks, hinges, and weather stripping
- Baseboards, trim, cabinetry, and shelving
- Minor appliance repairs and coordination for full replacements (washer, dryer, fridge, etc.)
- Garbage disposal installation and repair
- Toilet repair and replacement (including wax rings and tank components)
- Showerhead, faucet, and hose bib replacement
- Drain cleaning and unclogging using augers or similar tools
- Repair/replacement of blinds, curtain rods, closet doors, and handles
- Inspect and maintain smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and fire extinguishers
- Identify safety hazards and address them proactively (loose railings, trip hazards, etc.)
Landscaping & Exterior Care:
- Routine yard maintenance including mowing, trimming, weeding, and seasonal upkeep
- Minor fence/gate repairs
- Pressure washing as needed
- Exterior trash and debris removal
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Perform routine service on company vehicles (oil changes, battery checks, tire pressure)
- Coordinate major vehicle repairs with approved vendors
Inventory & Tools:
- Maintain supply and parts inventory across homes
- Organize workspace and garage tools
- Use company-provided trailer for transporting large items (appliances, landscaping equipment, etc.)
Administrative & On-Call:
- Track and document all completed work and submit updates
- Be available for emergency on-call weekends (rotating schedule)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
