What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ticket Services Representative position at MN Orchestra?
The Ticket Services Representative is responsible for ticket sales and customer service over the phone or at the box office for Orchestra performances and other events at Orchestra Hall.
This position is part-time with flexible scheduling:
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 am - 9:30 pm
- Saturday: 11:45 am - 5:00 pm
- Sunday: 2 hours prior to performance through start time
Essential responsibilities:
- Answer in bound calls and engage with callers to determine how best to help them with their ticketing needs
- Provide information to guests concerning performances and ticketing policies
- Provide support as needed in person at the Orchestra box office
- Manage cash and credit transactions
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in a ticket sales, guest services, retail sales, or call center environment
- Experience using a computer based system for managing in bound calls, ticketing, POS, or other related system
- Experience with managing guest transactions (cash, credit cards, or check)
- Ability to perform basic math functions, sufficient to calculating ticket pricing, making change, or other related functions
- Self-motivated and capable of managing a call que and working with limited supervision
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Fluency in Spanish is helpful, but not required
