Required:
· 3 years of SPD Tech Experience – Required.
· BLS from AHA
· SPD Tech certificate
· COVID Vaccines card.
Summary
As a Sterile Processing Tech II, you will be integral to maintaining the highest standards of sterile processing in our healthcare facility. Reporting to the Sterile Processing Supervisor, your core responsibilities will include ensuring proper sterilization techniques, managing medical inventory, and applying your knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology. Your BLS certification and expertise in aseptic techniques will be essential in supporting surgical teams and enhancing patient safety. Responsibilities
- Perform sterile processing of surgical instruments and medical equipment, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory management of sterile supplies and equipment.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to ensure proper handling and processing of materials.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff on best practices in sterile processing.
- Maintain BLS certification and stay updated on industry standards and practices.
