We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Full-Time Driver to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable Full-Time Driver to transport various aggregates, such as gravel, sand, and soil, to and from job sites using a dump truck with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of less than 10,000 lbs. This position does not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), making it an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking to grow their career in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maneuver a dump truck to deliver aggregates to job sites across the local region.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper securing of loads in compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and other required documentation in accordance with company policies and state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and job site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and requirements.
- Operate additional equipment (e.g., skid steers or loaders) as needed, with training provided for candidates willing to learn.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and work area.
- Represent Mock Property Services professionally when interacting with clients and the public.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations or accidents in the past 3 years).
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven reliability and punctuality in previous roles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to learn and operate equipment such as dump trucks or other machinery (training provided).
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude, with a commitment to safety and quality.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing in and out of the truck, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as project demands require.
