Our Fleet department has an immediate opening for an experienced mechanic. Pay will depend on experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues for various types of equipment and vehicles including but not limited to gas/diesel cars, truck, tractors, trailers, trailer lift gates, small engines, and pallet jacks
- Perform proper repair of diagnosis with minimal supervision
- Maintain an accurate record of repairs, parts, etc.
- Plan and prioritize assigned daily duties efficiently with the ability to re-prioritize as needed
- Communicate effectively with team
- Assist with roadside calls/repairs as needed
Minimum Requirements & Experience:
- Must have a valid driver's license, Class A CDL preferred or willing to obtain through on-site CDL training. (There is NO COST to employees for this valuable benefit!)
- 2-3 related experience
- Previous DOT experience preferred
- Welding experience a PLUS
