Job description
Modena Ristorante Vinoteca in Marietta in Marietta, GA., is looking for an enthusiastic Bartender/ Mixologist to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. An experienced Bartender who creates classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes salary and tips.
Responsibilities:
Welcome customers, read and listen to people to determine beverage preferences, make recommendations, and take drink orders.
Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to customers.
Process cash and credit card transactions following appropriate procedures
Plan drink menus and inform customers about new beverages and specials.
Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
Adhere to all local and national liquor laws
Developing new cocktail recipes.
Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department
Qualifications
A high school diploma or general education degree
2 years of experience in a bar or similar environment
Must be 21 years of age
Basic mathematical and computer skills
Be able to work in a standing position, walk, bend for long periods of time and lift up to 60 lbs
Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, and mixed cocktails
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Quick and creative thinking
Team player/ Hard worker/ Honest
Ability to read and speak English proficiently
Current hours are from 4-11 pm from Tuesday through Sunday.
