Job Description : Aftermarket Sales Representative

Reports to : Branch Manager and Aftermarket Sales Management

Job Requirements :

• Responsible for managing all aspects of the Aftermarket Sales process including quoting and selling repairs, PMs and maintenance contracts as well as new customer acquisition, dispute resolution and customer retention.
• Prepare and send product specification and quotation packages to customers
• Make follow-up calls, respond to customer inquiries
• Maintain contact with customers before, during and after each sale to ensure customer satisfaction and to ensure responsiveness to customer needs
• This individual will work closely with the Branch Manager and may at times assist on other projects as assigned
• Physical demands include daily assigned territory travel to customer locations, branch office and corporate office when necessary.

This is a solution sales role and the position requires a consultative approach. The ability to retain and acquire business will be dependent upon your listening skills, mechanical aptitude and the ability to respond to customer issues in a timely fashion that addresses their needs and not simply restating our service and product lines.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Two plus years’ experience in the material handling industry or related field.
• High School diploma required, BA / BS degree preferred
• Mechanical aptitude helpful.
• Excellent customer service skills and good organizational skills.
• Microsoft office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Must have current driver’s license and clean driving record.
