- Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the clinic.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Skills
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology and internal medicine concepts.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and patient care protocols.
- Experience working in an emergency medicine setting or Level I Trauma Center is preferred.
