Responsibilities
Job responsibilities:
- Knowledge of Government business processes regarding multiple types of appropriations.
- Experience in execution, planning, and programming of government appropriations.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between the division and its customers. This includes drafting, coordinating, and routing support agreements as necessary; reviewing funding letters, POCs, etc.; preparing and routing exceptions to policy; updating and submitting monthly obligations and expenditures reports to customers.
- Assist with the preparation of spend plans for multiple concurrent programs.
- Tracking funding actions for multiple contracts, programs, and fiscal years, and maintaining historical financial records.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelors’ degree in a related field with three (3) years relevant experience.
Required Clearance:
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance, ideal candidate will currently hold an active Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
Required Experience:
- Three years’ experience with preferred experience in the following: contracts, accounting, working in financial databases, preparation/review of financial reports, and tracking and analysis of financial execution/obligations.
- Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Must have demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
