NIGHT SHIFT QUALITY TECHNICAL OPERATOR II – QUALITY CONTROL

PAY: $19.38 per hour $.50 night shift differential

SHIFT: 6pm to 6am

1st WEEK: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (36 hours)

2nd WEEK: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday (48 hours)

Evaluates quality of tile during manufacturing process to ensure specifications are met.

• Performs quality checks on work in progress for thickness, size, gloss, color, etc.
• Inspects product samples to ensure quality standards are met.
• Audits glaze line operations to ensure applications are performing efficiently.
• Audits selection departments to ensure applications are performing efficiently.
• Documents test results.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.
  
  

Bachelor's degree preferred. 1 – 3 years previous manufacturing/production experience. Quality Control experience preferred. Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Good math skills.
