RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Monitors and ensures the overall nursing care to residents in accordance with CMS, State and Company Guidelines.
- Oversees Clinical policies and procedures in support of these regulations and guidelines and directs the implementation of such.
- Follows up on concerns from Residents and Family members
- Evaluates, monitors, and manages staffing levels and availability to ensure proper levels of staffing and care
- Implements and oversees infection control procedures to ensure resident and staff health and safety at all times.
- Coordinates purchasing of supplies, monitoring budget and validating and coding invoices.
- Assist in establishing a high quality of resident care; performs daily rounds
- Assists with the investigations of all incidents, falls, skin, elopements in compliance with policy and procedures
- Conduct and documents mandatory in-services and orientation for all staff
