To Qualify as an Activity Aid:
High school graduate or equivalent
Prior experience as activity assistant preferred
Prior experience in Long-Term Care/Healthcare is preferred
Empathy and care for those that need help
Effective communication skills
Some of Your Responsibilities as an Activity Aid Include:
Lead scheduled activities programs that inspire spiritual, cognitive, social, physical and creative expressions
Assist with the organizing, planning and implementation of programs and opportunities that promote resident well-being
Enthusiastically promote and communicate programs and events to residents
Passionately motivate and serve residents of varying cognitive and physical abilities
Interact with families and visitors of our residents
