JOB TITLE : Physician - Endocrinology
DEPARTMENT : MON PHYSICIAN SERVICES

JOB SUMMARY
The physician provides endocrinology clinical care for the patients seen at Mon Health's clinic sites. To follow and direct evidenced based practices as established within the Internal Medicine and Endocrinology service lines. Collaborates and coordinated the individualized treatment plan with the clinical team as necessary to assure an appropriate continuum of care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Graduate of an Accredited Medical School.
- Residency completed and one year of fellowship for endocrinology preferred.
Experience/Physical Requirements:
- Experience in group practice and/or hospital setting preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
- Current West Virginia Licensure.
- Current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate.
- Board eligible required. Board Certified preferred.
- Fully credentialed through medical staff according to Endocrinology services.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintain and document all applicable required education and job knowledge ensuring licensure, credentials and continuing education are actively maintained and timely. 2. Demonstrate positive customer service and co-worker relations. 3. Comply with the company's attendance policy. 4. Participate in the continuous, quality improvement activities of the department and institution. 5. Perform work in a cost effective manner. 6. Attend mandatory in-service, staff meetings and medical staff meetings as required. 7. Perform work in alignment with the overall mission and strategic plan of the organization. 8. Follow organizational and departmental policies and procedures, as applicable. 9. Completes all required competencies on time. 10. Perform related duties as assigned.
