Description
Monadnock Family Services (MFS) is seeking a Residential Educator who is able to provide supervision of residents' habilitation programs, structures a therapeutic milieu within the residence, provides training in daily living skills, monitors medication distribution, facilitates community integration and participates in the provision of crisis care to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. This individual will be able to work effectively as part of the team, as well as independently.
Requirements
You may be a great fit for this job if you:
- Have life and/or work experience in providing care to persons with severe and persistent mental illness, and you have demonstratable skills or competencies derived from your experience
Or…
- You have a baccalaureate degree in social work, rehabilitation, psychology, education, or a related human service field and one year of life or job-related experience working with persons with severe and persistent mental illness.
And you…
- Have a commitment to psychosocial rehabilitation.
- Have demonstrated communication skills.
