Job Responsibilities:
- Complies with safety rules, lockout-tagout procedures, and quality standards.
- Accurately reads and interprets plant order information, completing forms on time.
- Follows SQF policies, including food safety, housekeeping, and personal hygiene.
- Retrieves materials for palletizing finished bags and maintains productivity goals.
- Inspects completed bags for conformance to specifications and reports nonconformance.
- Removes nonconforming bags, counts scrap, and performs rework as needed.
- Performs housekeeping duties and ensures a clean work area.
- Completes other duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor or Manager.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for handling equipment and machinery.
- Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Able to apply common sense to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
- Flexible to work 8-12 hour shifts, rotating days off, weekends, overnight shifts, and overtime as needed.
