Monmouth Park Racetrack is seeking a qualified and experienced Detective to join our Frontside Security Department. This position is responsible for conducting investigations, evaluating security-related information, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, patrons, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations related to security matters within the Frontside Security Department
- Process, analyze, and evaluate information received from various sources
- Prepare accurate, thorough, and timely investigative reports
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information encountered or created
- Identify, recognize, and report potentially dangerous situations or conditions
- Respond calmly and decisively to emergency situations
- Adhere to assigned work schedules
- Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined in the company handbook
Qualifications
- Prior security experience required
- Retired police officers strongly preferred
- Ability to interact with the public in a professional and effective manner
- Ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional under pressure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must successfully pass background and drug screening
- Valid driver’s license required

- Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields preferred
