What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position at Monroe County Community School Corporation?
POSITION DETAILS:
· Implement appropriate teaching strategies as prescribed by the students’ individualized education plan.
· Implement appropriate behavior management techniques, including any crisis management procedures, as outlined in the student’s behavior intervention plan.
· Follow reinforcement schedules and use reinforcement appropriately.
· Complete data collection as directed by supervising BCBA.
· Communicate both orally and written with supervisor and colleagues.
· Work with school personnel to ensure effective ongoing implementation of behavioral strategies for student success.
· 7 hours and 45 minutes per day
· Academic School Year
· M-F
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must have a high school diploma.
· Must hold valid Indiana Driver's License and be able to travel between buildings.
· Must possess the RBT credential and be in good standing with the BACB.
· Experience working with individuals with disabilities such as autism, ADHD, or emotional disorders.
· A positive team player and energetic personality.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to communicate appropriately given the circumstances of the situation and individuals involved.
· Discretion in matters that require confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.76 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
