What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Manager position at Monroe Health Center?
Monroe Health Center is seeking a Facilities Manager-OSHA Coordinator with a minimum of 2 years experience. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with great benefit package. The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining our locations in Union and Peterstown WV and Craig County, Virginia and manage the oversite of the Forest Hill, WV site. Supervise and manage site custodians, track and manage custodial supplies. Project Manager or Liaison for Facilities remodeling/additions or any other facility related projects. Assist in developing long range plans and capital outlay requirements for facility. Assists in developing vendor lists, pre-qualifying bidders, vendor pre-bid conferences, review contractor bids, make recommendations to project committee, assist with job meetings to review progress, review construction issues/challenges, etc. Inspects construction and renovation work to ensure compliance with approved specifications and building codes and conformance with completion schedules and project expense budgets. Oversight and Negotiations of Annual Contracts, i.e. lawn care, snow removal, pest control, HVAC, Sprinkler, Security, etc. OSHA Compliance Coordinator for all Monroe Health Center sites. Regular work hours 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. General Contractor's License is preferred. Must have an OSHA 40 certification or the ability to obtain certification. Must have a valid drivers license, dependable transportation. Must be able to pass a Criminal Background check and drug screen.
