Preschool Developmental Aide

Under the supervision of a Child Development Center teacher provides assistance and instruction to individual or small groups of preschool aged children; monitor and report student progress regarding behavior and performance; assists in providing instruction using principles and appropriate learning strategies to support children’s developmental growth in social-emotional development, cognitive development, language development, physical development and performs related duties as assigned. Graduation from High School or equivalent; and 2 years experience, either paid or volunteer, caring for young children in a pre-kindergarten setting – or – such alternative the personnel commission may find applicable AND six-semester units or equivalent quarter units, in Early Childhood Education or Child Development completed at an accredited college.

Salary : $17 - $22
