Role Description
This is a part time remote role for Volunteer Board Members at MYDA. Board Members will participate in strategic planning, governance, fundraising, and supporting the organization's mission. They will be responsible for attending board meetings, contributing to committees, and advocating for the needs of T1D families in Montana.
Qualifications
- Experience in nonprofit governance or board membership
- Fundraising and advocacy skills
- Strategic planning and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the mission of supporting individuals with Type 1 diabetes
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
- Knowledge of healthcare or diabetes management is a plus
- Previous volunteer or community service experience
