Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Monteferro USA. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance and regulatory standards, ensuring high-quality parts are manufactured according to customer specifications.
The Quality Assurance Inspector/Technician ensures Company and Customer Quality and Regulatory Standards are being met. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, they will conduct Quality Testing, Perform Incoming, In Process and Final Inspection, Calibrate Measuring and Testing Equipment, Write/Complete Test Reports and necessary documentation, perform Dock Audits, Lead 6S Program, complete FAIR(s), Communicate test results/reports, and communicates well with fellow associates.
To ensure success in the QA Inspector/Technician position, you should have sound knowledge of testing procedures, a good eye for detail, and advanced problem-solving skills. Ultimately, a first-rate QA
Inspector/Technician should be able to accurately identify production irregularities and maintain a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Testing:
- Incoming/Receiving Inspections
- In process Inspections
- Final Inspections
- First Article Inspections
· Reviewing and revising inspection and test procedures
· Calibration
· 6S Program
· Document Control
· Communication
· Reporting of Quality and Safety infringements to QA or appropriate Manager.
· Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a QA Inspector/Technician role in a manufacturing environment
- Working Knowledge of Quality Standards, (Such as, but not limited to; ISO, Regulatory, Environmental, etc.)
- Strong Communication Skills, both spoken and written
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Experience with writing, updating, and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures, (SOPs).·
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent Attention to detail
- Willingness to work in hot, noisy environment
- Computer knowledge – (Excel, Windows, etc.)
- Knowledge and use of Measuring and Testing Devices and Equipment
- Knowledge, understanding, and use of Computers
