What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Preschool Teacher position at Montessori Kids Universe?
Montessori Kids Universe of Weatherford is immediately seeking applicants for Assistant Teachers.
You must be available between the hours of 7am-6pm. We do not have space for staff children at this time.
Multiple age groups are available, 6 weeks - 5 years old.
We DO NOT have space for staff children at this time.
MKU offers an authentic Montessori Curriculum with a Reggio Inspired Art & Science experience designed to inspire a child's creativity. We are currently seeking qualified, enthusiastic and nurturing individuals to staff our school!
As an Assistant Teacher, you will be responsible for helping the lead teachers implement an authentic Montessori method of instruction. You will be responsible for supervising the classroom, help the children think creatively, encourage them solve problems independently and respect themselves and others. The Montessori Method sparks imagination, assists children in making positive choices and helps the students build self-esteem while they discover new things each day.
We are interested in assistant teachers who are kind, thoughtful and strong at guiding children in self-motivated learning and stimulating their natural desire to learn.
