Montessori School of Silicon Valley is looking to hire an Infant Aide/Assistant for our Nido (Infant) Community at our Cantera Montessori location. Our Nido Community cares for children 6 weeks-1 years old, following a traditional Montessori philosophy. This is an entry-level position with great opportunities to grow both in the Infant Community as well as other age levels throughout the Montessori environments.
Duties Include:
- working with both Non-Mobile and Mobile Infants
- diaper changes
- working in a collaborative group environment
- supervision of both non-mobile and mobile infants
- following directions through a Lead Teacher
- assisting in feeding and food preparation
- spending large amounts of time on your knees working with the children individually
The ideal candidate would:
