Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Teacher with experience in teaching primary age children 3-5 years old to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a track record of classroom management, child-centered approach to learning, and creative and curious thinking to encourage that in the children. This position will require lesson planning, preparing the environment, and positive and nurturing child and parent communications.
Duties
- Model and implement the Montessori philosophy in the classroom
- Create and support an outdoor environment that is an extension of the classroom
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the school's curricular focus
- Nurturing character with excellent supervision
- Monitor and assess student performance, providing feedback to support their development.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.

- Requirements
- Minimum 12 ECE units
- Montessori certification preferable but not Required
- TB Test & MMR / TDAP Immunizations up to date
- Livescan cleared
- Experience working with students in Montessori settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and child welfare practices.
- Familiarity with Montessori and certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
