Montgomery County ESC has an opening for a Technical SupportSpecialist.
Start date: asap
Contract - 260 days
Non-exempt position
Pay range: $22.25 - $24.92
The duties include performings computer support activities that ensure the delivery of reliable and
efficient technology services for the Montgomery County
Educational Service Center and Student Programs and client districts.
Provides technical expertise and manual skill in the installation,
inspection, servicing, and repair of the equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Associates degree in computer science, network communications, and/or
equivalent combination of training/work experience preferred.
· Knowledge with PC and Macintosh workstations.
· Knowledge in LAN connectivity.
· Knowledge repairing and maintaining communication equipment and
workstations.
· Knowledge installing and servicing cables in the LAN environment.
· Strong interpersonal skills and customer-service orientation.
· Meets all mandated health requirements
· Provides documented evidence of a clear criminal record.
