Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team at the Y. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong computer proficiency, and a passion for assisting members and the community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Assist members with inquiries regarding programs, memberships, and facility information.
- Handle member concerns, resolve issues promptly, and escalate when necessary.
- Promote Y programs and services to members as opportunities arise.
- Conduct outbound calls to follow up on member feedback and participation.
- Maintain accurate member records and perform data entry tasks efficiently.
- Assess member needs and recommend appropriate Y programs or services.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette, professionalism, and member confidentiality.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in English.
- Previous experience in customer service or similar roles.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with outbound calling and promoting services.
- Familiarity with Y programs and membership benefits.
- Familiarity with CRM programs a plus.
