What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Volleyball Coach position at Montgomery Co?
Qualifications:
- Current Alabama Teacher’s Certification (preferred) or classified dependent upon qualifications of the
- Previous experience in sports as a participant and/or coach (preferred) but not required
- Completion of all requirements set forth by the AHSAA Coaches’ Education Program
- Must have or be willing to obtain CDL
- Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of volleyball and a willingness to examine new theories
Essential Duties:
- To instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategies, and physical conditioning necessary for
- To work with the athletic director in accomplishing the mission and goals of the athletic department
- Ability to work with players, parents, administration and other coaches
- Attend the AHSAA sponsored rules clinic for his/her sport
- Board Approved Stipend $2,000.
