This is a part-time, remote role. The role will be involved in a variety of Property & Casualty actuarial analyses primarily within Commercial and Specialty Lines of insurance.

- Reserve reviews
- Rating plan development
- Rate filing support
- Rating model development
- Treaty reinsurance pricing
- Organizing data in Excel, Access and/or R
- Research
- Building, maintaining and enhancing Excel analysis templates and models
- Traditional actuarial analyses
- Documentation
- Bachelors’ degree
- 4 years of P&C experience
- 2 actuarial exams completed
- Both pricing and reserving experience is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detailed oriented
- Quick learner
- Committed to meeting deadlines
- Solid understanding of insurance and actuarial fundamentals
- Strong data manipulation and organization skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access
- Proficiency programming in VBA is a plus
- Proficiency programming in R is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is a plus
