Leading manufacturer of air sampling and radiation monitoring equipment since 1973 is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Assembly Technician to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Manufacturing: Follow both verbal and documented procedures to perform basic assembly tasks. You will be responsible for assembling components and ensuring product quality.
- Tool Proficiency: Utilize hand tools and small power drill drivers according to Company's established procedures. Attention to detail and precision are essential.
- Collaboration: Work with other team members to achieve production goals efficiently.
- Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Experience: One or more years of experience in assembly and/or manufacturing is preferred.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong ability to pay attention to details and maintain accuracy in documentation.
- Computer Literacy: Capable of scrolling through PDF documents to follow the stated procedure.
Technical Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with basic electronic wiring is preferred.
- Comfortable working with hand tools and performing basic tasks using screwdrivers and/or pliers.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, both within a team and individually.
Skills needed:
- Command of the English language (read, write & speak).
- Use of standard tools: Screwdriver, wrench, plyers, electric drill and other light-duty power tools.
- Ability to read instruction manuals written in English.
- Willingness to be a team player and assist in other areas of the company when time allows.
Shift Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
