Education: High School Diploma or equivalent or AA degree
Minimal Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, orally and in writing
- Ability to promote learning in others and act as an appropriate role model for persons served
- Ability to attain DSP 1 & DSP 2 Certification within first 2 years of hire
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Negative TB test and medical clearance
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Valid California Driver’s License – Class C
- Own insured vehicle for daily transportation requirements
- DMV and Department of Justice Clearance
Role and Responsibility
- Provide client training on living skills with appropriate documentation from goals to evaluation.
- Monitor and ensure health & welfare of residents with appropriate record keeping.
- Provide individual and group training in semi-independent and independent living skills.
- Facilitate and document client planning in goals, objectives and program services.
- Perform assessments, re-evaluations on persons served and prepare related documentation as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with CCL - Title 22 of and ARCR - Title 17 of ACRC regulations (money management, medication handling, etc).
- Ensure CEU (Continuing Education Units) are completed in a timely manner
- Monitor client behaviors, medication usage, and other safety related needs as required.
- Ensure the health and welfare of residents, including scheduling need appointments and follow up on instructions given.
Position Availability: Hiring NOW - Immediately start out Part-time, if successful , can lead to Full-time with great benefits
Salary: $16.50 hourly, $24.75 overtime, $33.00 double overtime
