Instructional aides work under the direction of a classroom teacher supporting students in small groups with English Language and Math. Pay is $21.20--27.06 per hour depending on experience. 27.5 hours a week, 8: 00 AM-2:20 pm, everyday that school is in session.
Examples of Essential Duties:
- Assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing math, reading, writing and literacy instruction to identified individual or small group students in a classroom or other learning environment; monitor and oversee student drills, practices and assignments in various subjects.
· Assist students in completing classroom assignments, homework and projects in various subject areas; ensure student understanding of classroom rules and procedures; assist students by answering questions, providing proper examples, emotional support, friendly attitude and general guidance; confer with the teacher concerning lesson plans and materials to meet student needs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.20 - $27.06 per hour
Expected hours: 27.5 per week
Schedule:
