Production Manager

Morgan Services is immediately hiring an experienced Production Manager to join the Los Angeles Team!

The Production Manager is a salaried/experienced-level position that directs and manages all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, quality, safety & other production-related activities. This position works a typical Mon-Fri schedule & is responsible for maintaining Healthcare Laundry Accreditation requirements and serving as the MPS continuous improvement coordinator. This position reports to the General Manager.

Duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Direct assigned plant production activities & personnel
• Supervise a production staff of approx. 50 members including department supervisors
• Take appropriate action to maintain plant safety & OSHA compliance
• Team recruitment, development/cross training, & awareness
• Develop systems/procedures to insure outstanding final product quality
• Production & staff scheduling in line with seasonal and other changes
• Fill route service requirements & strategically plan/prepare/maintain production budgets
• Maintain the Morgan housekeeping standard (Security of building/grounds & Regulatory compliance)
• Work with Sales & Service Dep. Mgrs., evaluating new & existing products/usage/growth opportunities
• Develop annual production budget which is consistent with the Area overall plan.
• Understand plant processes, machine functions, & operations flow to meet production needs
• Other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Production Manager Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in business or a related field
• Must be able to commute daily to the Morgan Facility (905 Yale St, Los Angeles, CA 90012)
• Must have strong communication skills (written & verbal)
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but NOT required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (*Excel & Outlook) preferred but NOT required
• Previous Experience in Industrial Production/Process Management preferred but NOT required
• Must have prior experience working with diverse groups of individuals
• Must have excellent organization & time management skills w/ ability to multitask
• Must be able/willing to pass a background check & drug screening (hair)
