Qualifications
- Certifications/Licenses: None required for this position.
- Training and Experience: Experience working with elderly and/or Activities Director or assistant required.
- Plans, organizes and schedules programs for residents with feedback from the residents including but not limited to the Resident Council.
- Oversees entertainment provided by paid entertainers, volunteers or students inside Menger Springs..
- Evaluates the effectiveness of the activities and transportation programs in consultation with the Campus Director, Resident Council, and other key team members.
- Works as a team member with resident services staff, volunteers, students and other department staff.
- Encourages residents to attend activities calendars, postings, Uniquest (and/or other social media technology in use) and personal invitations.
- Works with volunteers placed under his/her direction
- Perform special assignments, projects and other duties as required in all 3 buildings on campus.
