What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Housekeeper position at Morningside University?
Morningside University is now accepting applications for a part time housekeeper working approximately 29 hours a week, which includes hours on Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing custodial tasks with the objective of keeping buildings in a clean, orderly, and attractive condition
- Involves sweeping, mopping, floor care and general cleaning practices
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
Qualifications:
- Must be able follow directions closely,
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work well with others
- Good organizational skills and ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Have strong knowledge of cleaning practices and using household equipment
