DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

A person who under the direction and supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse provides clerical support, assistance with basic patient care and telemetry monitoring in the IMC/ICU

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma required.

Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Successful completion of Arrhythmia Recognition test.

Telemetry interpretation experience preferred.
-
Basic computer skills and order entry experience required.

Current certification by IDPH as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.

DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.

At least 17 years of age.

Evidence of professional grooming, attire and conduct.

Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others.

Possess a sense of responsibility, initiative and honestly.

Ability to follow directions accurately and self-directed.
