Morris P. Hebert, Inc. now accepting applications for Entry Level Survey Helpers ( Rodman).
Job Summary: Survey Helper/Rodman works as survey helper, assists Party Chief and Instrument Operator as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assists the Party Chief and Instrument-man as directed
- Performs field tasks, including but not limited to; brush clearing, tree cutting and pipeline probing
- Responsible for loading and unloading of vehicle, boat and/or off road vehicle
- Regular cleaning of vehicle, boats, buggies, and equipment
- Assures that all needed supplies are on hand for job, i.e. flagging, nails, hammers, lumber, sweeper etc.
- Cleans all equipment and charges electronics for next day
- Makes sure all ice chests and water coolers are full and clean
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
- No experience is needed for the Rodman position.
- Effective communication skills, oral and written.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pass a physical exam and drug screen.
