What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reception/Front Desk-IMC position at Morrow County Health District?
Located next to the stunning Columbia River in Eastern Oregon and just off the I-84 Corridor, Irrigon is a family oriented community and has an array of activities for the outdoor enthusiast.
Job Duties:
- Welcomes patients and visitors in person and on the telephone, answers inquiries in a polite and friendly manner.
- Check patient’s contact information and updates as needed, verifies insurance eligibility at each visit.
- Collects co-pay at time of visit.
- Schedule patient appointments as needed.
- Confirms next day appointments.
- Upload documents and other records as needed into patients’ EHR.
- Assists patients as necessary.
Job Details:
- Highschool graduate or equivalent required.
- Must have a BLS certification.
- Prior Electronic Health Record experience preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
