Mosaic Residential, Inc. is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to manage and coordinate people, activities, and resources to maximize the successful operation of communities within the Texas region (primarily Houston-based).
The Position:
As a Sr. Regional Director, you’ll take the lead in shaping the success of Mosaic Residential’s growing portfolio in the Greater Houston Area. You'll be the driving force behind our property teams, keeping things running smoothly and ensuring every community thrives. Responsibilities:
Team:
- Lead, manage, and develop property management teams across multiple communities.
- Ensure recruitment, training, and retention of team members in alignment with the company’s core values and goals.
- Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture that meets or exceeds company expectations.
- Communicate goals and performance expectations to team members and hold them accountable for meeting those objectives.
- Regularly walk and inspect communities, providing guidance and support to on-site teams.
Property/Customers:
- Drive efforts to maintain a favorable online reputation for the communities under your management.
- Regularly monitor and act upon resident satisfaction surveys and other customer feedback.
- Resolve any issues related to rent delinquencies or resident disruptions in a timely and professional manner.
- Regularly shop the competition and conduct market surveys to stay ahead of industry trends and ensure the company remains competitive.
Systems:
- Implement and manage core business processes, including leasing, resident relations, marketing, maintenance, budgeting, and vendor relations.
- Leverage technology to forecast performance and build strategic action plans to address performance gaps or optimize success.
Financial:
- Formulate and manage community budgets in conjunction with the Sr. Vice President and property managers.
- Monitor and control spending across multiple properties to ensure adherence to budget expectations.
- Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue, leasing, and renewals.
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable to ensure financial health of each community.
- Ensure timely completion of financial analysis, budgets, and regular updates to the Senior Vice President.
Education, Experience, Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a regional supervisory role in multifamily operations.
- Proven leadership and customer-focused approach to property management.
- Ability to forecast performance, generate leads, manage budgets, and handle financial analysis.
- Industry certifications such as CAM, CAPS, or CPM are preferred but not required.
- Experience with property renovation and repositions
- Onesite experience
- A valid driver’s license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Flexible and willing to travel to industry/company events and due diligence
Work Environment:
- The role will primarily be based in the Greater Houston area with frequent travel to multiple communities within the region.
- The position requires a hands-on leadership style, including walking and inspecting properties regularly.

Salary : $100,000 - $135,000
