What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Motel 6 / Studio 6?
Repairing and maintaining the interior and exterior of the hotel while following Company standards for quality, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and safety and security.
Other key duties include: Perform routine maintenance such as painting, floor cleaning, plumbing, caulking, etc. Must be willing to learn computerized systems that work orders are entered and completed through, Perform minor adjustments on HVAC systems, room furniture, fixtures and other items in the hotel Perform duties of the company’s preventative maintenance program Report major repair needs to the Hotel General Manager Assist in other areas of the hotel as needed, such as collecting/delivering dirty linen to laundry, assisting with laundry or housekeeping as needed. Schedule is NOT consistent and is based on the demand of occupancy Must be able to work weekends and holidays Must have your own transportation in order to purchase and pick up items at local hardware stores.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
