Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Conduct assessments to track students' progress
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's development
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Requirements:
-CDA (Infant/Toddler) or AA in ECE
- Previous experience working with toddler -aged children
- Strong classroom management skills
- Knowledge of daycare regulations and best practices
- Ability to educate and engage young learners through creative teaching methods
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies for early childhood
- Understanding of child development principles and milestones
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
