Our client, the 4th largest school system in Georgia, is actively looking for a Business Process Analyst to join their team in Atlanta, GA! This role is fully onsite with some potential for hybrid flexibility here and there so local candidates are required.
***This is a 12 month initial contract with the opportunity for extension based on performance***

Responsibilities
- Conduct business analysis through stakeholder interviews and collaboration
- Build strong relationships and promote collaboration among internal business partners
- Facilitate requirements gathering and discovery sessions
- Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and functional requirements
- Translate complex requirements into clear and actionable documentation for diverse stakeholders
- Develop business process flows, use cases, and functional/non-functional specs
- Manage and track project tasks and timelines
- Propose solutions based on data to improve process efficiency and performance
- Maintain consistent and detailed project documentation and artifacts
- Ensure alignment with PMO processes and methodology
Preferred Experience
- Experience with K-12 education systems or Student Information Systems (SIS) is a strong plus
- Project Management experience and familiarity with PMO frameworks and structured project environments
- Experience supporting enterprise-level system implementations
Required Skills & Experience
- 8 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a senior or lead capacity
- Working in a K-12 or higher education environment is a HUGE PLUS
- ITIL expeirence is a HUGE PLUS
- Strong organizational and facilitation skills — able to manage agendas, expectations, and group dynamics
- Skilled in critical thinking and analytical problem-solving
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving needs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — clear, professional, and user-friendly
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Visio, and related tools
