Top Hand - Tower Climber
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- · Safely/Properly use a Cathead Hoist without supervision
- · Decommission a tower and tower equipment safely and efficiently
- · Understand carrier Color Codes
- · Properly PIM test, RF Sweep test and Fiber test as requested from the top of tower
- · Ability to do tower mapping
- · Able to install and route coax, hybrid trunks, and all jumpers
- · Proficient at installing Flash Technology Controllers
- · Able to hang booms, mounts, antennas, and equipment and able to rig a tower in a Class IV rigging scenario
Qualifications:
- Ability to operate hand and power tools.
- Ability to read simple mechanical drawings.
- Ability to work independently and with others.
- Ability to climb and work on a ladder.
- Valid driver's license required
